Bilawal Bhutto fails to answer why there is no child specialist in Larkana

Bilawal Bhutto was addressing a press conference regarding the spread of HIV virus in Sindh and its prevention.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 26th May, 2019) Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari avoided a question about a child specialist in Larkana.

Bilawal Bhutto was addressing a press conference regarding the spread of HIV virus in Sindh and its prevention on Saturday when he was asked this question.

During the press conference, a journalist asked Bilawal why there is not a single child specialist in a city like Larkana.

Bilawal could not respond to this question and simply walked away.

The video of Bilawal walking away to this question went viral on social media.

Bilawal said that HIV is not a death sentence. The conflation of HIV and AIDS is fueling stigmatization of the most vulnerable people in Pakistan, he said, adding that this cannot and should not be tolerated.

Bilawal vowed to stand by his fellow Pakistanis who have contracted HIV, be they in Ratodero, Swabi, Sargodha or Turbat.

According to Aids control center, 56 more cases of HIV Aids were identified in Rito Dero, Karachi.

The number of HIV infected cases increased to 331 in which 80 percent are children.

Aids control center said that screening of 20 percent of area has been done till now and the population of this area is 1.5 lac.
