Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 21st May, 2019) In an important development, the facilitator of Data Darbar suicide attack has been arrested.
Media reports said that Mohsin Khan, the facilitator of the blast, has been arrested.
Mohsin Khan belongs to Shabqadar area of Charsada. The suicide bomber has been identified as Siddiqullah Mohmand.
The suicide bomber and his facilitator had come to Lahore on May 8.
Both of them were residing at a house near Data Darbar.
The facilitator revealed during the investigation that he had entered Pakistan from Afghanistan through Torkham border. The suicide bomber belongs to a banned outfit.
The CTD sources said that explosive material was also recovered from the facilitator.
At least 13 people, including four policemen, have been killed while 30 others injured in a suicide attack on a police van at Gate 2 of the Data Darbar, Lahore on May 8.
The suicide bomber had targeted a police van in the suicide attack.
The security forces are conducting operation to arrest suspects believed to be involved in the Data Darbar blast. Several suspects have been arrested so far in various operations.
Earlier, the CTD had arrested an innocent citizen, alleging him to be the facilitator of the attack. He was later released upon proven innocent.
