The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the attack took place in the Mir Ali area, where the terrorists targeted a convoy of security forces.

The martyred soldiers were identified as Subedar Zahid Iqbal, Havaldar Sohrab Khan, Havaldar Mian Yousaf, Naik Khitab Shah, Lance Naik Ismail, and sepoys Roohail, Muhammad Ramzan, Nawab, Zubair Ahmed, Muhammad Sakhi, Hashim Abbasi and Manzar Ali.
Following the attack, a clearance operation was launched in the area, during which 14 terrorists were killed in an intense exchange of fire, the ISPR added.
The military spokesperson condemned the attack and vowed that those responsible would be brought to justice. “The security forces, backed by the nation, remain committed to eradicating terrorism, particularly those networks operating under Indian patronage,” the statement read.
It added that the sacrifices of the martyred soldiers and innocent civilians underscore the country’s unwavering resolve to defend the homeland. “We will continue to safeguard Pakistan at all costs,” the ISPR declared.
