MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th April, 2019) A border patrol helicopter has crashed in the northwestern Iranian province of West Azerbaijan, at the border with Iraq, local media reported on Wednesday, citing the head of the province's Border Guard Command, Fardin Piri.
The Mehr news Agency specified that the helicopter had crashed at Dalampar mountains to the south-west of the city of Urmia, leaving one border guard killed and three others injured.
Over 10 ambulances have been dispatched to the site of the accident, while Urmia governor has immediately left for the site of the crash as well, Mehr added.
