WASHINGTON/TEHRAN:(UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 18th, 2026) The United States military has completed its seventh consecutive night of strikes against Iran, targeting key military infrastructure and maritime assets, while Iranian state media reported civilian casualties in the latest attacks.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that the latest operation targeted surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage facilities and maritime capabilities in an effort to weaken Iran’s military capacity.

CENTCOM said the operation involved fighter aircraft, armed drones, warships and other military assets.

Meanwhile, Iranian state news agency IRNA reported that three people were killed and eight others injured in strikes on parts of the southern province of Hormozgan on Saturday. The province’s deputy governor confirmed the casualties, according to the report.

In a statement posted on X, CENTCOM said US forces had concluded their seventh consecutive night of operations against Iran and reiterated that the strikes were aimed at degrading the country’s military capabilities.

The latest exchange comes amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, with both sides continuing military and diplomatic confrontations across the region.
