Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Sharm El-Sheikh, praising their roles in ceasefire efforts and urging continued global humanitarian support for Gaza.
SHARM EL-SHEIKH : (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,14, 2025) Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held meetings with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the Gaza Peace Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh.
According to the Foreign Office, the discussions focused on efforts to achieve a ceasefire and promote lasting peace and stability in the region.
Dar appreciated the roles of the United States and Türkiye in facilitating peace efforts, reaffirming Pakistan’s support for regional stability and humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza and Palestine.
He also emphasized that the international community must continue providing humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Gaza.
