The episode occurred when Mahira, accompanied by actor Humayun Saeed, visited the Indo-Pak Supermarket in the Ilford area of London to interact with fans and promote the film. However, the meet-and-greet event turned chaotic due to poor arrangements and lack of crowd control, leading to a distressing situation for the actress.

Speaking about the incident on a private tv show recently, Mahira said she considers herself a strong woman who rarely asks for help. However, she shares a strong understanding with Humayun. “When I was distressed, Humayun instantly sensed it and came to my aid,” she said.
Humayun Saeed, while recounting the incident, stated, “I would help any woman in distress, not just Mahira.”
