MUMBAI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 25th, 2026) Bollywood actors Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar are set to reunite on the big screen after a gap of 22 years in the upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle.

The two actors, who have previously starred together in several hit films, will share screen space once again in the much-anticipated comedy entertainer. Their last on-screen appearance together was in the 2004 film Police Force: An Inside Story.

Speaking in an interview with Indian media, Raveena Tandon said she was delighted to reunite with old colleagues and friends on the project. She said working again with Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and director Ahmed Khan brought back fond memories.

The actress said the cast members share a long-standing friendship and have known each other for many years. She also recalled her association with veteran actress Farida Jalal, who played her mother in several films, including Ziddi.

Praising Akshay Kumar’s journey in the film industry, Raveena described him as a dedicated and accomplished performer. She said the actor has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic throughout his career and has continued to evolve with time.

“We entered the industry around the same period and learned together as newcomers. Today, Akshay has established himself as one of the most accomplished actors in the industry,” she said.

Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon have appeared together in several successful films, including Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Barood and Keemat.

Their reunion in Welcome to the Jungle is expected to generate significant interest among fans who fondly remember the pair's successful collaborations during the 1990s.
