Barrister Gohar says Omar Ayub and Salman Akram Raja will represent Imran Khan in all matters related to the protest movement while Ali Amin Gandapur will focus on governance issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 3rd, 2025) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially appointed its founding leader, Imran Khan, as the Patron-in-Chief of the party as it prepares for a nationwide protest movement.
The announcement was made by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan during an informal conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail, where Imran Khan is currently incarcerated. Gohar provided key details about the party's protest strategy and leadership structure during this period.
According to Barrister Gohar, Omar Ayub and Salman Akram Raja will represent Imran Khan in all matters related to the protest movement, while Ali Amin Gandapur will focus on governance issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Gohar himself will oversee diplomatic outreach and coordination, in addition to continuing his responsibilities as party chairman.
“I am still the Chairman of PTI and will lead the party’s legal battles in the High Court,” he added.
