Tragic incident took place on evening of June 2 when 22-year-old Umar Hayat, a TikToker from Faisalabad known as “Kaka,” allegedly killed Sana Yousuf at her residence
ISLAMABAD: The father of Sana Yousuf, a TikToker who was brutally murdered in Sector G-13 of Islamabad, has issued a heartfelt video statement urging the government to ensure justice is served.
The tragic incident took place on the evening of June 2, when 22-year-old Umar Hayat, a TikToker from Faisalabad known as "Kaka," allegedly killed Sana Yousuf at her residence. According to reports, the suspect committed the crime after repeated rejections to his attempts to befriend her.
Following the murder, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered on the complaint of Sana’s mother. Islamabad Police later arrested the accused, who is currently in custody.
In his video statement, Sana’s father — a government employee — made an emotional plea to the authorities. “I am a government servant. I request the government to investigate this tragic incident thoroughly and hold everyone involved accountable,” he said.
He added, “I have no personal enmity or dispute with anyone. All I ask is for justice for my daughter through a fair and transparent investigation.”
Reiterating his appeal, he emphasized, “The government should ensure it reaches the culprit and brings me justice. This is my request to the government.”
