Though both the actors are not romantically paired opposite each other, it's their first outing ever. Talking about the same, Bebo stated to Rajeev Masand in an interview, "Not a romantic pairing with Irrfan Khan. It's a small but interesting role. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone that would throw me into the film milieu.
It's all a different world to be part of, so that's interesting."It was said that Kareena will start the shoot for the film in the month of May. But now as per reports in Deccan Chronicle, the actor will be joining Irrfan and the team of Angrezi Medium in June. As May is summer vacation time for her son Taimur Ali Khan, Bebo wants to spend her maximum time with him. When his playschool starts in June, Kareena has allotted dates for Angrezi Medium, as reported by the portal.
The reports also suggest that Bebo will be taking Taimur to London for the shoot.Meanwhile, producer Dinesh Vijan spoke about Kareena to Hindustan Times. He stated, "Kareena is a great addition to our franchise! Angrezi Medium is a very special film, and I'm excited that she's going to be a part of it. We wanted to introduce this character who would be taken forward in the franchisees to come, and she's perfect for it."Angrezi Medium is being helmed by Homi Adajania and also stars Radhika Madan as Irrfan's daughter.
