Suspicious cash transfer, new investigation against Agha Siraj Durrani started

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Executive Board agreed to do inquiry against Karachi.Mayor Waseem Akhtar and Liaquat Ali Jatoi

ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 15th March, 2019) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Executive board agreed to do inquiry against Karachi.Mayor Waseem Akhtar and Liaquat Ali Jatoi. A corruption reference was filed against Former Karachi Mayor Kamran Quraishi as well.According to details, Executive Board held a meeting presided by NAB Chairman (retd) Justice Javed Iqbal. They agreed on investigation of Sindh Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar and Former Federal Minister Liaquat Al Jatoi on the transfer of suspicious transactions.

According to a private television channel report, NAB agreed to file the reference against Former Airbhy Mehtab Abbasi, Former Health Minister Gilgit-Baltistan and Former Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA).According to NAB announcement, Executive Board agreed to file three references. First reference will be filed against Former Chairman CDA Kamran Quraishi and others. Accused were charged with illegal possession of plots in F-11, Islamabad.

Second reference will be filed against Former Airbhy Mehtab Abbasi, Former Chairman Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Musharraf Rasool. Accused has been charged with appointment of PIA Chairman.Third reference will be filed against Former Health Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan and Former Conservator of Forests Muhammad Zamarud Khan and others. Accused has been charged with issuing fake passes and forestrying.NAB Chariman (Retd) Justice Javed Iqbal said that NAB is working on zero tolerance policy to eradicate corruption.
