PPP delegation and government team will discuss finalisation of the development budget ahead of the 2026–27 federal budget.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-June-06,2026) A Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) delegation, led by President Asif Ali Zardari, is scheduled to meet the government’s economic team today for consultations on the upcoming Federal budget.
According to sources, the meeting between PPP leaders and government representatives will focus on finalising the development budget.
The federal budget for the next financial year is likely to be presented on June 10.
The PPP delegation includes Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Naveed Qamar, and Sherry Rehman. The government side will be led by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, along with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and other officials.
The federal budget for 2026–27 is expected to be presented on June 10.
