MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th February, 2019) Iran has introduced a new ballistic missile, dubbed Dezful, capable of hitting targets at the range of 1,000 kilometers (about 621 miles), the Fars news agency reported on Thursday.According to the agency, the unveiling ceremony was held at an underground ballistic missile production facility for the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in the presence of the IRGC Commander-in-Chief Mohammad Ali Jafari.
"During the ceremony ... the Dezful 'smart' ground-to-ground ballistic missile was presented. The missile has a flight range of 1,000 kilometers," Fars said in its Twitter blog.
