BUENOS AIRES (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 02nd February, 2019) A large blaze erupted at a hotel in central Buenos Aires, leaving at least 112 people injured, the head of local emergency medical services Oscar Balcarce said.
The fire erupted at the hotel located on Corrientes Avenue, a popular tourist destination, on Friday.
"One hundred and twelve people required medical aid. Sixty people were treated at the site while 52 people were taken to city hospitals. Four of them are in critical condition," Balcarce said, as quoted by the TN broadcaster.
Balcarce noted he had no information about those killed in the incident.
Meanwhile, TN reported that a woman aged 55 had died from smoke inhalation.
