“Today marks the 96th birthday of an actor who revolutionised acting and set standards impossible to meet even today. The legendary @TheDilipKumar. Actor and writer Vasay Chaudhry shared an iconic picture of himself as a child with the legend and wished him on his birthday.
Meanwhile, Bollywood’s Amitabh Bachchan also extended greetings to the legendary actor.

Dilip Kumar was born on December 11, 1922 in Mohala Khudadad.
He is a renowned Bollywood actor, producer, writer and activist. He ruled the Indian film industry as Tragedy King for four decades.
Dilip Kumar has a special connection with Pakistan as he was born Mohammed Yusuf Khan in Peshawar.
Kumar was recently hospitalized due to recurring pneumonia but the actor’s family friend Faisal Farooqui had said that the actor is recovering and responding well to his treatment.
The superstar has been suffering from age-related health problems in the recent past.
