MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th August, 2018) A large gold statue of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was removed from a square in Germany's southwestern city of Wiesbaden after it sparked clashes between his supporters and opponents, local police said on Wednesday.
The 4-meter (13-foot) statue of Erdogan was installed as part of the Wiesbaden Biennale for Contemporary Art.
"A fire brigade vehicle has taken the statue," police said on Twitter.
