Balochistan National Party candidate Muhanmmad Akhtar Mengal has won PB-40 with 22114 votes.
Khuzdar (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Balochistan National Party candidate Muhanmmad Akhtar Mengal has won PB-40 with 22114 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Balochistan National Party candidate won in PB-40 Khuzdar-III constituency with 22114 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Mohammad Rahim was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 5080 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Mir Ghulam Dastagir Badini who got 5071 votes.
At least 18 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PB-40. In 2013 elections, there were 61882 voters registered in PB-40, out of which 30386 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 49.10 %.
