Faisalabad (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Hamid Rashid has won PP-117 with 48747 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-117 Faisalabad-XXI constituency with 48747 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Syed Tariq Yaqoob was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 30537 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League candidate Baasima Chaudhry who got 23354 votes. At least 14 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-117. In 2013 elections, there were 180389 voters registered in PP-117, out of which 108164 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 60 %.
