Vasay Chaudhry and Bilal Khan have surely won over the hearts of Pakistan for this act.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 25th July, 2018) Many of the Pakistani celebrities are in Toronto, Canada for the rehearsals of Hum Awards 2018.
The dates of Hum Awards have coincided with the general elections being held in the country.
While many celebrities are making their way to the polling stations to vote for their favourite candidates, some are outside of the country because of work commitments.
As these celebrities came under fire for not participating the voting process of general elections, Vasay Chaudhry and Bilal Khan flew back to Pakistan to cast their votes.
"A 14 hour flight and then THIS," Vasay Chaudhry wrote as he shared a picture of his inked thumb.
"I flew from Toronto to Lahore a week ago just so I could vote. I will be voting tomorrow and flying back at night for the awards happening in Toronto. It would’ve made more sense for me to stay there but I came back. The reason I tell you this is that I want you ALL to vote. Each vote counts and it is our duty as citizens of our country to vote. It is cool to vote," Bilal Khan said as he flew back to Pakistan.
After finally casting his vote, he said, "Stood in line this morning in NA-131 polling station to cast my vote - it was extremely hot but duty fulfilled. It wouldn’t be hard to guess who I voted for given “Larho Mujhey” is such a recognized anthem. Please, please, please go out VOTE. It doesn’t matter if it is hot or humid or there are long lines. Take out everyone and make them vote. You only have to do this once in 5 years. Okay time for me to pack and leave for Toronto, flight is in 8 hours."
The two of them surely won over the hearts of Pakistan for this act.
