The actress is maintaining a positive outlook and that’s her way of dealing with cancer
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 10th July, 2018) Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre who has been diagnosed with cancer and is under treatment in New York has chopped off her hair.
The actress shared her new pictures on Instagram and thanked for the love and support she has been receiving since she shared the news.
Sonali started her caption with a quote by her favourite author Isabel Allende that “We don't even know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden strength forward. In times of tragedy, of war, of necessity, people do amazing things. The human capacity for survival and renewal is awesome.”
“The outpouring of love I’ve received in the last few days has been so overwhelming… and I’m especially grateful to those of you who shared stories of your experiences in dealing with cancer, whether it was your own or of loved ones. Your stories have given me an extra dosage of strength and courage, and more importantly, the knowledge that I’m not alone,” she added.
The actress went on to say that each day comes with its own challenges and victories and so for now, I’m taking this #OneDayAtATime.
She said that she is maintaining a positive outlook and that’s her way of dealing with this.
“The only thing I’m trying to be consistent about is maintaining a positive outlook... literally #SwitchOnTheSunshine - it’s my way of dealing with this. Sharing my journey is also part of this process... I can only hope it reminds you that all is not lost and that someone, somewhere understands what you’re going through. 🤞🌞” she concluded.
In her previous post, Sonali had revealed about her diagnosis and said that she is taking the battle head on.
As the actor shared the news on her social media handles, love and best wishes for her speedy recovery started pouring in from friends, fans and colleagues.
Sonali is famous for her roles in films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Sarfarosh and Kal Ho Na Ho.
Earlier, Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan also shared the sad news of being diagnosed with cancer.
