7 years to Bol: Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick write heartfelt notes

Bol was a Pakistani hit released in 2011

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 25th June, 2018) Actresses Mahira Khan and Humaima Malick have shared throwback posts to Bol.

Bol was a Pakistani hit released in 2011. The movie featured Humaima Malick, Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, Iman Ali, Shafqat Cheema, Amr Kashmiri, Manzar Sehbai and Zaib Rehman in lead roles.

Seven years to Bol today, Mahira shares her feelings about the movie.

“7 years to Bol today, 7 years to my first ever acting job.
There are so many songs that are close to my heart but this one might be the most special. Atif Aslam tried his best to teach me how to play the guitar. Also our voices feel so different in the scene! Shoaib Mansoor used to have Maram Aabroo cover my lips with concealer, thought they were too pink. All of us would chill for hours up on this roof, singing songs and talking about life (as we knew it then). This is to the beginnings, to the times of innocence and purity, when we didn’t know where we were headed, when living in the moment was enough.. and to all the love ever since that time, to all of you
Hona tha pyar :)” Mahira wrote on her Instagram.

Later, Humaima Malick also recalled her defining role as Zainab and calls it her rebirth.

“Same day 8 years ago, it was my rebirth. Everything changed, I got to know that Allah is the best of the planners...... so much pain, soo many years, so many tears. Each day on Bol sets was a struggle, got to hear Word “Talaq” from my ex on my first camera-action-roll of the movie. When it destroyed Humaima ... Zainab was born !!!! Allah is the best director his stage his scenes and my pain I played that on this real life stage! Thankyou each and every soul who worked with me specially Shoaib Mansoor! Jub Khila nahee saktay tu paida kio kartay hoooo . #bol #8yearstobol #thisistherealme #acceptyourself #bolkizainab,” Humaima penned down on Instagram.
