Govt to leave no stone unturned for protection of rights of farmers: Minister Food

Punjab Minister for Food Bilal Yaseen has pledged to continue surprise visits to sugar mills till the end of crushing season. He said that the government will leave no stone unturned for protection of rights of the farmers.

LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2018) : Punjab Minister for food Bilal Yaseen has pledged to continue surprise visits to sugar mills till the end of crushing season. He said that the government will leave no stone unturned for protection of rights of the farmers. The Minister for Food was talking to representatives of sugarcane growers at Sugar Mills on Saturday. He visited Hunza and Hussain Sugar Mills in Tehsil Chak Jhumra and Jaranwala and resolved the issues of growers of less payment on the occasion.

Advisor to CM Punjab Rai Haider Ali Kharal, ACs Sheheryar Arif, Afifa Najia, police officers and other officers were also present. Bilal Yaseen said that on the special instruction of CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, entire administration has mobilized to protect the rights of sugarcane growers and issues o less payment, cutting in weight are being resolved on the spot. He assured the farmers of all relief from the government and directed the district administration to strictly follow weighing standards and issue CPR of Rs.
