Gold price drops by over Rs10,000 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs9,360 to settle at Rs368,985, says All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association

KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 23rd, 2026) The gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decline of more than Rs10,000 per tola, the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association confirmed on Tuesday.

The association stated that the price of gold per tola fell by Rs10,400, bringing it down to Rs432,236 in the local market.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs9,360 to settle at Rs368,985.

The market data showed that the decline in domestic prices followed a significant drop in international gold rates. In the global market, gold prices fell by $104 per ounce to $4,098.

The traders said fluctuations in international bullion prices continued to directly impact the local market, leading to sharp adjustments in Pakistan’s gold rates.

The gold prices in Pakistan are typically linked with international market trends as well as Currency exchange rates, which influence daily pricing in the domestic market.

ewellers and market analysts noted that such volatility is expected to continue in the near term as global economic conditions and investor sentiment remain uncertain.

The sharp decline has brought some relief for local buyers, though market experts caution that prices may remain unstable depending on further movements in the global bullion market.
