The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that the helicopter suffered a technical malfunction during takeoff, which caused the accident. Rescue and recovery teams were immediately dispatched to the site. A Board of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the exact technical causes of the crash.
