Actress Mahira Khan shared an image of the Gul Plaza tragedy on her Instagram story, stating, “Watching the videos of this incident is infuriating. I feel helpless and frustrated. Is this just an accident, or is it apathy?”
She also prayed for the recovery of the injured and expressed condolences for the families of the deceased, asking for patience in this difficult time.

Model and actress Nadia Hussain criticized the government, calling the tragedy "unbelievably horrific" and said that it has left the people of Karachi in despair, grief, and shock. She questioned the delay in extinguishing the fire, saying, "Why was the fire not put out in time? So many lives were lost, and millions of rupees worth of property were destroyed. Where were the fire trucks? Why did the fire continue to burn for over 24 hours?"
Actress Sahar Khan also expressed her sorrow on Instagram, urging the Sindh government and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab to take immediate action and compensate the victims for their losses. She also paid tribute to the Rescue 1122 personnel who lost their lives while performing their duties.
