LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Nov 28th, 2025) Pakistan’s beloved on-screen couple Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan have reunited in the romantic film Nilofar, which has been released across cinemas nationwide. Fans have eagerly anticipated seeing the duo together in lead roles after several years.
The film is written and directed by Ammar Rasool, who has brought together a star-studded cast, including Madiha Imam and Behroze Sabzwari, alongside Mahira and Fawad. Fawad Khan also serves as co-producer of the project.
Speaking about the film, Mahira Khan praised the production team, saying, “The producers are talented and visionary. After years, they have brought all of us together. I also share scenes with Behroze Sabzwari, Naveed Shehzad, and Fawad.”
The grand premiere took place yesterday in Lahore, attended by Mahira Khan with her husband, Fawad Khan with his wife, and other cast members. The event was also graced by renowned singers and qawwals Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, and Ali Zafar, who expressed delight at seeing the internationally acclaimed actors together on the cinema screen for the first time.
