Atif Khan, the husband of Model and Actress Nadia Hussain, is among six accused
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Nov 12nd, 2025) The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Corporate Crime Circle has submitted the final challan in a Rs530 million fraud case involving a private company before the District and Sessions Court (South) Karachi.
During the hearing, the FIA presented the complete charge sheet, confirming that renowned model and actress Nadia Hussain has not been included among the accused.
According to the FIA’s final report, Nadia Hussain’s husband, Atif Khan, along with five other individuals, has been named as an accused. The report states that evidence of forgery, breach of trust, and financial fraud has been established against them, and they will now face trial.
It may be recalled that the FIA had arrested Atif Muhammad Khan in March this year on charges of embezzling millions of rupees from a private bank.
FIA officials revealed that Atif Khan was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the private bank on July 1, 2015, during which he allegedly established a personal company in violation of institutional policy.
A formal complaint regarding financial irregularities was reportedly submitted by the bank’s group head last year, leading to a full-scale FIA investigation and subsequent filing of the final challan.
