After 25 years in Bollywood, Abhishek Bachchan wins his first Best Actor Filmfare Award for “I Want to Talk.”
MUMBAI :(UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,13, 2025) Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has won his first-ever Best Actor Filmfare Award after completing 25 years in the film industry. The actor received the honor at the 70th Filmfare Awards 2025 for his powerful performance in the film “I Want to Talk.”
An emotional Abhishek became teary-eyed while receiving the award, saying, “This year marks 25 years of my journey in films. It has always been my dream to receive this award in front of my family.”
Expressing gratitude towards his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya, Abhishek said, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya, thank you for allowing me to chase my dreams. I know that your sacrifices are the reason I stand here today.”
He dedicated the award to two special people — his father, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, and his daughter Aaradhya. “This award is for my two heroes — my father and my daughter,” he said.
Abhishek also thanked all the directors and producers who believed in him throughout his career. “The journey wasn’t easy, but it was truly worth it,” he remarked.
The actor was last seen in Housefull 5 alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonam Bajwa, and Jacqueline Fernandez. His upcoming film King will feature him sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. This milestone award marks a significant chapter in his long and inspiring career.
