Indian actress and politician Smriti Irani shared that Shah Rukh Khan once jokingly advised her against marriage when they first met through her husband, Zubin Irani.
MUMBAI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,13, 2025) Indian television star and politician Smriti Irani has revealed that Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan once advised her not to get married when they first met.
Speaking to Indian media, Smriti Irani shared that her first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan happened through her husband, Zubin Irani. “When I met him for the first time, he told me, ‘I’m telling you, don’t get married.’ I found his advice quite strange and funny,” she said.
Smriti added that she responded jokingly, saying, “Brother, it’s too late for that!”
Recalling her first meeting with Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan, Smriti said her husband and Salman were college classmates in Mumbai. “When Zubin introduced me to Salman, his father Salim Khan was also present. Salim Khan told me, ‘Do you know what your husband and my son used to do? They would steal my car and go for drives both were quite mischievous,’” she recalled with a laugh.
