The Bollywood legend broke down in tears after hearing his mother Teji Bachchan’s recorded message during Kaun Banega Crorepati season 17.
MUMBAI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,09, 2025) Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, known as the “Shahenshah” of Indian cinema, became emotional after hearing his late mother Teji Bachchan’s voice during an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 17.
In a touching moment on the show, an audio message from Teji Bachchan was played, in which she said, “I am very fortunate that wherever I go, people love and respect me because of my son. For a mother, there can be no greater happiness.”
Hearing his mother’s words, Amitabh Bachchan was moved to tears and fell silent for a few moments.
Teji Bachchan passed away in December 2007 in Mumbai. Amitabh has often described his mother as the greatest guiding force and source of strength in his life.
