A 30-year-old man opened fire inside a court in Tirana, Albania, killing a judge during a property dispute hearing and injuring two others before being arrested.

According to foreign media reports, the shooting took place at a court in the capital, Tirana, during the hearing of a property dispute case. The attacker suddenly pulled out a pistol and fired multiple shots at the presiding judge, Estret Klaja, who succumbed to his injuries while being taken to the hospital.
Authorities said that two other people, a father and son involved in the case, were also injured in the shooting but are reported to be out of danger.
Police have arrested the 30-year-old suspect and launched an investigation. The gunman’s uncle, a security guard, who allegedly allowed him to enter the courtroom with a weapon, has also been detained.
According to police, the attack occurred immediately after the judge announced the verdict, prompting the suspect to open fire on the judge and then at the plaintiffs before being subdued and taken into custody.
