A private company’s lawyer seeks more time after which court adjourns hearing until June 30, 2025
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 23rd, 2025) The Sindh High Court on Monday adjourned the hearing of a bail petition filed by Atif Khan, husband of renowned actress and model Nadia Hussain, in a Rs. 530 million bank fraud case.
As the hearing commenced, Atif Khan appeared before the court seeking bail in connection with the high-profile fraud case. The court postponed the hearing after the counsel for a private company, Barrister Asad Ashfaq, requested additional time to prepare.
The court accepted the request and postponed the proceedings until June 30.
As per the prosecution, Atif Khan is accused of colluding with two other individuals, Imtiaz and Faisal, to commit a large-scale bank fraud. The trio allegedly inflicted losses exceeding Rs. 530 million on the private company involved.
It may be mentioned here that actress Nadia Hussain is currently on bail in connection with the same case.
