A video clip of Maryam’s interview has gone viral on social media, in which she expressed her support for Islamabad United and revealed a close personal bond with Azam Khan, who plays for the franchise.
When asked about her favorite players on the team, Maryam responded, “My baby is also in the team — and that’s Azam Khan.”
Her comment left the host visibly surprised, prompting her to explain further: “One day I told Azam that he’s like a godson to me. We talk about so many things, but funnily enough, we’ve never discussed cricket.”
Azam Khan also responded to the comment with a smile, saying, “Maryam Nafees and I always share warm, affectionate conversations,”.
