Court says decision on their bail pleas will now be delivered on June 2
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-May 31st, 2025) An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday once again deferred the hearing on the bail applications of three accused including actress and model Nadia Hussain in a high-profile Rs530 million bank fraud case.
During the court proceedings, Nadia Hussain along with co-accused Imtiaz Ahmed and Faisal appeared before the judge. The court announced that the decision on their bail pleas would now be delivered on June 2.
The prosecution said that Nadia Hussain, Imtiaz Ahmed, and Faisal are currently out on interim bail. Imtiaz Ahmed and Faisal are accused of committing fraud in collaboration with Nadia Hussain’s husband, Atif Khan.
Earlier, the court had rejected the bail application of Atif Khan, who is also an accused in the case.
The case continues to attract significant media attention as the investigation into the alleged bank fraud unfolds.
