MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 01st June, 2019) The police confirmed the identity of a man suspected of shooting in the US resort town of Virginia Beach, CNN reported on Saturday.Twelve people were killed and another four wounded in a shooting at a municipal building in Virginia Beach on Friday. All but one of those killed were city employees. Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a law enforcement officer that the shooter was 40-year-old engineer DeWayne Craddock. According to the newspaper, he acted out of revenge, but the details are unknown. Over the past few weeks, the man bought a large number of small arms, the newspaper said.
The Virginia Beach police have confirmed that Craddock are the alleged shooter. He was wounded in a shootout with the police and died shortly thereafter, the police said.
According to police chief James Cervera, Craddock had been working as an engineer in the city's public utilities department for the past 15 years.
