MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th February, 2019) The PSA Group car manufacturer announced Tuesday that it was planning to resume sales of Opel vehicles in Russia as part of its strategic development goals.
"The Group's aim is to increase its sales outside Europe by 50% by 2021 and to position its brands in new markets: Peugeot in North America, Citroen in India and Opel in Russia, while enhancing DS's international footprint," the company said in a press release.
Yannick Bezard, the PSA Group's executive vice president, said that resumption of Opel sales in Russia would allow the company to boost its presence in Eurasia.
