WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th February, 2019) The Department of Defense has authorized repositioning 250 active duty troops in the US state of Texas on the United States' border with Mexico in response to migrant caravan, Pentagon spokesperson Bill Speaks said in a statement on Wednesday.

"Acting Secretary of Defense [Patrick] Shanahan has authorized the repositioning of approximately 250 active duty military personnel from current border security support missions in Arizona to the vicinity of the Eagle Pass POE (point of entry)," Speaks said.
