Russia's Inter RAO - Export Says Supplied 13 Gas Turbine Plants to Venezuela

Russian power equipment supply and engineering company Inter RAO - Export said in a statement it had supplied 13 gas turbine plants to Venezuela.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th November, 2018) Russian power equipment supply and engineering company Inter RAO - Export said in a statement it had supplied 13 gas turbine plants to Venezuela.

"Inter RAO - Export LLC has fulfilled the contract for the supply of 13 gas turbine plants (GTPs) with a total capacity of 423.8 MW for the Venezuelan state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela S.A, PDVSA. The last three GTPs were handed over to the customer in early November of this year and have been shipped to the port facility of Maracaibo (Zulia state, Venezuela)," the company said.

"Currently, negotiations are underway on the possibility of our company's participation in the construction and commissioning of power plants on the basis of a part of the gas turbines supplied, as well as on the use of installations for supplying electricity to Venezuela's refineries," Inter RAO - Export LLC Director General Maxim Sergeev said.
