ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 21st, 2026) The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Tuesday announced a significant increase in the prices of petroleum products for July 22, marking the second consecutive revision since the implementation of the government's new daily petroleum pricing mechanism.
An official notification issued by the OGRA said that the price of petrol has been increased by Rs4.93 per litre, raising the retail price from Rs315.80 to Rs320.73 per litre.
Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs7.15 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs367.21 per litre, compared to the previous price of Rs360.06 per litre.
The revised prices will come into effect from July 22 and will remain applicable for one day under the government's newly introduced system of daily fuel price adjustments, which links domestic petroleum prices more closely with fluctuations in the international oil market and exchange rate movements.
