LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Oct 18th, 2025) The Pakistan cricket board (PCB) has approached the Zimbabwe Cricket Board to participate in the upcoming tri-nation Twenty20 series in Pakistan after Afghanistan Cricket Board withdrew from the tournament.
The PCB moved quickly to secure an alternative team following Afghanistan’s official decision to pull out of the series, ensuring that the event will proceed without disruption.
With Zimbabwe’s inclusion, the series is now expected to feature Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Pakistan from November 17 to 29, 2025, with the revised schedule to be announced shortly.
