LONDON: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-June 23rd, 2025) Renowned Pakistani film and television actress Sana Nawaz, also known by her earlier name Sana Fakhar, has announced her much-anticipated return to the entertainment industry after a difficult phase in her personal life.
Sana, who began her career in the early 2000s, quickly rose to fame in Pakistani cinema and later gained prominence on television with her powerful performances in various drama serials. However, in recent years, she had stepped back from the limelight due to personal commitments and challenges.
The actress recently confirmed that she has divorced her husband, Fakhar Imam, with whom she shares two sons. Following the divorce, Sana relocated to the United Kingdom, where she has plans to work on selected Pakistani media projects.
Speaking at a recent event, Sana Nawaz revealed she had taken time off from acting to focus on her family and personal life but is now ready to re-engage with her career. “I’ve started reading scripts again and am preparing to make a strong return to television soon,” she told reporters.
At the same event, Sana also interacted with an Indian fan and shared a message of unity and peace through art.
“Artists are not bound by borders,” she said, adding that “Our true place is in the hearts of people, and our work is meant to be appreciated across boundaries.”
