MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd May, 2019) At least two people were killed and four others were seriously injured on Thursday as a result of a hydrogen tank explosion in the South Korean eastern city of Gangneung, local media reported citing firefighting authorities.
According to the Yonhap news Agency, firefighters have started a rescue operation in an attempt to find people who could have been trapped under the debris.
A spokeswoman at Gangwon Fire Headquarters told the media outlet that the storage tank was used by a venture firm at the Gangwon Technopark in Gangneung that is 150 miles east of Seoul.
