The construction of the Russian Northern Fleet's air defense military base in the Arctic will be completed this year, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov said on Tuesday
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 21st May, 2019) The construction of the Russian Northern Fleet's air defense military base in the Arctic will be completed this year, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov said on Tuesday.
"The Arctic clover [administrative and housing complex] on the Kotelny Island is shaped like a [clover] leaf. This year, we plan to complete the construction of a military town in the village of Tiksi for the servicemen of the Northern Fleet's air defense unit," Bulgakov said.
�According to the deputy minster, all the 11 facilities of the complex will be connected by covered walkways to facilitate the passage of servicemen.
�The Arctic clover complex has been built in the Arctic in order to develop the Northern Fleet's infrastructure in the region.
