Shane Watson leaves Pakistan on a warm note after Quetta Gladiators become PSL 4 champion

Shane Watson coming to Pakistan to play for Quetta Gladiators was surely the highlight of this year’s PSL.

Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 18th March, 2019) Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, who was in Pakistan to play for Quetta Gladiators Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 4, has left Pakistan on a warm note.

Quetta Gladiators won the PSL 4 trophy by beating Peshawar Zalmi in the final by eight wickets.

Shane Watson coming to Pakistan to play for Quetta Gladiators was surely the highlight of this year’s PSL.

After becoming the champions, Shane Watson left the country and wrote a heartfelt note on Instagram.

Sharing a picture with Quetta Gladiators owner Nadeem Omer, skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and Mohammad Hasnain outside the hotel before his departure, Shane Watson said that Karachi has been the absolute highlight of his PSL journey.

“Saying farewell to a few of the main men @quetta.gladiators. It has been such an amazing 5 weeks with my time in Karachi being the absolute highlight. What a way to finish things off last night. #psl4champions #psl” he wrote on his Instagram.

The final of PSL 4 was held in Karachi on Sunday. Quetta Gladiators led to victory in an exciting match with Peshawar Zalmi.

Several international players had come to the country for Pakistan leg of PSL. They enjoyed the hospitality of Pakistani people besides a charged crowd that had enthralled to National Stadium, Karachi to witness the international cricketers play in front of them.

Impressed by Pakistan’s hosting of the event, the international players are now leaving for their home countries leaving behind memories of the much eventful PSL 4.
