Adel al-Jubeir conveyed Imran Khan the special message of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News – 7th March 2019) Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir has held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and conveyed him the special message of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
The minister, who arrived Islamabad on a special one day tour, met the PM at his office. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, PM advisor for commerce Abdul Razak Daud and foreign secretary were also present on occasion.
The leadership of both countries discussed the Pak-India situation and other issues in the meeting.
Earlier, Qureshi welcomed the minister on his arrival and both the foreign minister discussed the prevailing situation in the region. Qureshi also welcomed the Saudi offer of mediation between the two countries.
“We welcome the offer by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to mediate between Pakistan and India,” said Qureshi after holding talks with his counterpart.
Adel and Qureshi also discussed bilateral relations and situation of the middle East.
It is important to mention here that the Saudi minister arrived in Pakistan on the special direction of Crown Prince.
