Chinese Airline to Launch Direct Flights Between China, Finland April 8 - Finavia

Chinese airline Tiber Airlines will launch on April 8 direct flights between the Finnish capital of Helsinki and Jinan, the capital of the eastern Chinese Shandong province, thus becoming the first Chinese airline ever to carry out regular flights to Finland, the government-owned Finavia company, which manages Finnish airports, told Sputnik on Tuesday.

HELSINKI (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th January, 2019) Chinese airline Tiber Airlines will launch on April 8 direct flights between the Finnish capital of Helsinki and Jinan, the capital of the eastern Chinese Shandong province, thus becoming the first Chinese airline ever to carry out regular flights to Finland, the government-owned Finavia company, which manages Finnish airports, told Sputnik on Tuesday.

Finnair is currently the only Finnish airline carrying out flights to China.

"The number of direct flights between Finland and China will continue growing. On April 8, Tibet Airlines will launch flights to Jinan. This is the first Chinese airline to carry out flights to Finland. This summer, 44 flights to China alone will be carried out daily from Helsinki-Vantaa. In 2018, 835,000 passengers have traveled to China," Finavia said.

Flights to Jinan will be conducted twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays on Airbus A330 wide-body jets, in economy and business class.

This summer, passengers will be able to travel from Helsinki-Vantaa to such Chinese cities as Jinan, Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Hong Kong.
