BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 03rd January, 2019) A 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit China's southwestern Sichuan province early on Thursday, the Chinese seismic bureau said.
The tremors were registered at 08:48 a.m. local time (00:48 GMT) in the Gong county, located in the Yibin prefecture. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at the depth of 15 kilometers (9.3 miles).
There have been no immediate reports about casualties or damage caused by the quake.
