Seemi Ezdi won the reserved seat by obtaining 183 votes in the Senate by-poll.
Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 10th December, 2018) The cabinet meeting headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan is underway where he is inquiring about the performance of the ministers.
There are reports that Jahangir Tareen’s sister Seemi Ezdi is likely to be added in the cabinet.
Jahangir Tareen is a senior member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and hold his influence on party policies.
The PTI was criticized for awarding Senate ticket to Ezdi; however, she has been an active member of the party since the beginning.
Seemi Ezdi won the reserved seat by obtaining 183 votes in the Senate by-poll.
Ezdi is also a member of Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation.
Moreover, Yousaf Baig Mirza is also likely to be included in the cabinet while Shehryar Afridi can get an upgraded portfolio of Federal interior minister. Shafqat Mehmood and Faisal Javed are the candidates in case of a changing of information minister.
