Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met with Chairman of the National Security Council of Brunei Halbi Yussof and discussed the fight against terrorist propaganda during his visit to the Southeast Asian nation on Monday, the Russian council's press service said in a statement.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 01st October, 2018) Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met with Chairman of the National Security Council of Brunei Halbi Yussof and discussed the fight against terrorist propaganda during his visit to the Southeast Asian nation on Monday, the Russian council's press service said in a statement.
"Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has held the first round of the Russia-Brunei security consultations. Patrushev met with Brunei's National Security Council Chairman Halbi Yussof in Bandar Seri Begawan," the press service said, adding that the sides paid special attention to the fight against terrorist propaganda.
Patrushev and Yussof also stressed during the meeting that the strengthening of dialogue between the security councils of Russia and Brunei was a significant element of bilateral cooperation between the countries.
Patrushev also spoke about security cooperation prospects between Russia and Brunei with Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah, according to the statement.
